Forest & Eco Therapy is an evidence-based preventative health practice with restorative effects on physical and mental health and wellbeing. We provide nature immersion experiences with our horses and farm animals, and with our flora and fauna to help with social skills and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors. Horticulture Therapy utilises plants and gardening activities to improve the body, mind and spirit of people for all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Our therapists work with diverse groups of clients of all age groups, abilities, and with a range of issues; it is particularly effective in engaging people who may struggle to participate in more traditional ‘talking therapies’ such as children, adolescents, people who identify as neurodivergent, people living with anxiety, depression and trauma, those with learning and other disabilities, language difficulties or those from other cultural backgrounds and those at risk of disconnection from school, society and so on..
Many families find Equine therapy an important adjunct to other allied and funded therapies offered as part of an integrated support package.
